STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM

On obtaining the necessary Study Visas and on completion of the Diploma Level foreign students will be assisted  to gain entry into South African Universities and Technikons for the completion of their final year for their B. Tech Degree. A unique opportunity.
  
VISAS
The student who complies with all the necessary requirements of obtaining a study visa in South Africa by having all his/her legal papers in order, the college will assist that student all the way in obtaining his/her visa.

Documents required : Check list
Legal document to show proof of birth example :Identification Documentation   ID/Passport
Certificate of Good Health Report.
Police Report  showing clean citizen with no criminal records.
Letter of consent from mother/father or a legal guardian if the student is under 21 years old.
Study Visa : Go to a South African Embassy in your country. They will assist you as to what is required and how you can get them.

It is important for you  not to forget to take the bona fide STUDENT’S CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE  from GLOBAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING to the South African Embassy in your country which you will receive once your REGISTRATION FEES of $ 60-USD has been paid into the college ‘s bank account .

ACCOMMODATION - SELF-CATERING  A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Foreign students feel at home with a vibrant culture of learning . While there are times for fun and games during the course of the year ,a vibrant culture of hard work and learning is adopted all year round. Accommodation is available in private houses/homes ,single cottages ,single or double room in flats ,holiday houses and the rates differs , Upper class to sharing facilities available. You can request for everything to be arranged before leaving your home . Board and lodge is also available .This means accommodation with everything provided ,meals , washing , ironing and cleaning .Accommodation without meals are from R7000- to R12000- per year and with meals and all other services like washing ,cleaning and ironing can go up to R15000- to R20000- per year .Accommodation fees are to be paid upfront before arrival. Meals specials include: western eastern(Hindu, Pakistani ,Bangladeshi , South Indian) Chinese all original dishes for veg. and non-veg. students.

FOREIGN STUDENTS SUPPORT SERVICES
There are a number of ways a foreign student feels comfortable and secure.
Student counseling and support in personnel problems.
Communication with the Home Affairs to update documentation of stay in South Africa.
Communicate with the Department of Education in regards to qualifications, certifications, exam entry, examination timetables and results.
Help desk services until the students completes his her studies.
Assistance in times of helplessness,any illness.
Academic assistance and extra support with lessons not clearly understood by the student.
All lessons are in English and extra English lessons are available for foreign students.
Experiencial learning, students are placed in practical work situations to earn extra pocket money to spend on weekends.(optional).

ARTS AND CULTURE
Foreign students take part in the festival of Arts and Culture. Activities include Visual Arts, Music, Multi Cultural Dance, Speech and Public Speaking Contests, Reading and Writing Skills are encouraged as well as organizing Arts and Festivals.

GRADUATION DAY
Graduation day is not about wearing a graduation gown and posing for the photographs. You have to study extremely hard and write examinations. You wear the gown to show your success and your achievements. Your journey has just begun for a rewarding career.
 
APPLICATION DEADLINES
October 30 , the registrations commences for the following year, each year.
March 1st , the registrations commences for midyear entries .

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN APPLICANT DOES NOT MEET THE ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
He /she will be assisted to start at the appropriate level. The student will be evaluated and accessed  according to the documents the student produced at the time of registration. The student is required to produce all his/her STATEMENT OF RESULTS from the last school/college/university.

By sending this e Mail letter as a foreign student I hereby state my firm confirmation to the following :

1. Choose Global Education and Training to undertake and facilitate my application to register at the institution.
                                             
2. I would like to register for the course (s) listed below

I promise to make sure that I submit all important and relevant information required by the Global Education and Training Group to fast track my application.

I submit my application with the clear understanding of the following:

1) That I will comply to all the immigration laws rule and regulations of South Africa.
2) That I will comply with and follow all the rules and regulations, standards, norms, syllabi, examination procedures that of The Global Education and Training Group and the Department of Education of South Africa, A state department under the Government of South Africa.
3) That a confirmation of the visa approval and a bona fide student registration letter will be forwarded to me on receipt of full payment.
4) That in the event of withdrawal (Where a foreign student cancels (Deregisters from the college), the course fee less administration fees will be refunded only if a written notice of withdrawal is received I month before commencement of the course.
5) If the written notice is received less than one month prior to the commencement of the course, there will be no refunds.
6) That all travel documents and academic certificates submitted are true copies of the originals as certified by a police station .
7) That I will take full responsibility of all my financial needs and obligations as and when they occur while I am in South Africa or If I decide to study on line from where I stay i.e. my own country of origin.
8) That I undertake to meet all the above conditions provided I qualify with all valid legal documentation for example visas, travel tickets, health report, police report( that there was no criminal activities exercised by the student.)That the amount of $ 2500-USD does not include food, accommodation, text books  transportation registration application fees or legal documentation fees etc.).
