Course Identification
The course in Hairdressing and Cosmetology is offered at 2 Certificate levels on the SAQA/NQF levels 3 and SAQA/NQF level 4. The entry requirement is Grade 9 or N1 or 16 years and older which ever applies.
Recognition of the Hair and Beauty Course

As part of the Trade Test Requirement this course is compulsory to complete in order to trade legally as a Hair dresser or Beautician in South Africa. It is recognised by all Salons and Beauty Clinics, Products and Cosmetics House and by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Chains.
